Human and Animal Physiology

Human and Animal Physiology aims to understand body functions by studying the underlying
mechanisms. The focus is on how energy homeostasis is related to health. This is approached
by parallel analysis of energy homeostasis and the underlying molecular processes under
different conditions. This is done at the whole organism, tissue and cell level. We provide
high-level education (BSc, MSc, PhD, Post-doc) in physiology and perform internationally
competitive research in (molecular) physiology.
